WARNING !!...Namtai drivers and paltalk scene

These drivers work with MSN fine, and will also work with paltalk scene, that is until you reboot your PC, After reboot it buggers paltalks CRC check and wont let you stay logged in (out of date error), This isnt a fault with paltalk it is definatly the namtai drivers as i purposly done a fresh format and installed paltalk and it was fine, rebooted several times and still ok, Installed namtai drivers and cam worked until reboot, Also be carfull not to uninstall the drivers as you will be left with a blank XP screen (no icons) this also has happened on 2 machines after a fresh format and only after trying to uninstall the namtai drivers.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers on several XP (SP2) installs, and never once had a problem. Maybe your uninstall problem is due to an issue with PalTalk Scene?

Its got nothing to do with paltalk as paltalk works fine until i used the eyetoy drivers which then screwed the paltalks CRC check, Im useing modified Dlink drivers for my eyetoy now and that works fine.

Ps im useing XP SP1 on both machines so maybe its an SP1 issue.

I ran this ages ago on SP1 with Paltalk and no issues there ! Would not post as a warning until you have a log or something confirming this.... unfounded
